Luis
G. Figueroa
Mr. Figueroa is a
Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer. Born and raised
in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Figueroa received his
undergraduate degree from the State University of
N.Y. at Geneseo, receiving Graduate of the Year
recognition. He went on to attend Law School at
Syracuse University, earning his Juris Doctor with
high honors in 1979. While a student at both
universities, Mr. Figueroa received recognition for
his scholastic achievements and community service.
Mr. Figueroa has concentrated his efforts since 1980
on civil litigation and trial practice in all areas
of personal injury, workers compensation and
appellate law. He has tried numerous cases on both
state and federal levels. He has several reported
decisions from Florida Appellate Courts and the
Florida Supreme Court.
Mr. Figueroa has
also been featured as a lecturer in Tort Litigation
and Ethics by several professional organizations,
and has also been published in several legal
periodicals. He is currently a vice president of the
Puerto Rican Bar Association of Florida and a past
officer of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central
Florida. He presently serves on the Florida Bar
Continuing Education Committee.
Mr. Figueroa
resides in Central Florida with his three sons. He
is active in various law related, civic and
religious organizations. He is a member of the
Florida Bar, the Seminole County Bar, the Orange
County Bar, and the Hispanic Bar Association. He is
admitted to practice in all state courts, the
Federal Middle District of Florida, the Federal
Northern District of Florida, the 11th Circuit Court
of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. |
